Civil Disobedience

Obama's a big fan of Ghandi.  That's where he got all that (bowdlerized) "we are the change we've been waiting for" crap.

Well, here's one from his hero he may want to meditate upon...
"civil disobedience becomes a sacred duty when the state has become lawless and corrupt."
-- Mahatma Ghandi
Go read Shikha Dalmia's article, Resisting Obamacare, Ghandi Style.

* - BTW, that picture is not a joke.  I took it from one of the Obama worship websites.

Has this president no heroes of the usual American kind? Those to whom he looks for guidance and inspiration all seem to have Marxist (or worse) connections. It is still so shocking to me that so many people were misguided into voting for this extreme, extreme liberal revolutionary.

Naw, not Ghandi. Jawaharlal Nehru was Obama's Indian hero. Most precious was Nehru's statement to an industrialist, "Never speak to me of profit. It is a dirty word." ...

Obama embraces that philosphy like a junkie embraces crack.

Civil disobedience is usually reserved for the left.

Out and out rebellion is what is reserved for freedom-loving people since the beginning of time itself.

The problem (for them) is the left knows that the right has more guns than they do. I'm perfectly fine with that. In my opinion, our gun safes carry far more backing than any ideology behind any left protest in any era.

And I'm fine with that advantage. Even if I never open my gun safe.

Shouldn't you be?

Perhaps this why Obama has established a Civilian Security Force (his own private army).
