MSNBC "Brand Insanity"
The website msnbc.com is trying to shake the nuts off of its tree. It no longer want to be associated with the leftwing wackadoos at the cable channel MSNBC...
The television channel has carved a space out for itself in the network news wars by moving further and further to left-leaning content, such as the Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow shows.
The Web site wants to be a strictly objective news site without the liberal bent of the channel. Already, the two groups are separate companies and now they want separate names.

The Heritage Foundation sets him straight, using the White House's own numbers:
Yet for his talk about a “fact-free” disinformation campaign, Krugman curiously provides no data on total federal spending.
According to President Obama’s own Office of Management and Budget—the keepers of the official data on government spending—federal spending has just finished its largest two-year surge in nearly 60 years, leaping from 20.7 percent of the economy to 25.4 percent (see Table 1.2 here), the highest spending level in American history outside of World War II.Overall, Washington is spending 23 percent more today than it did two years ago.

SF, I too am trying to enjoy life more by blogging less. The current state of affairs makes me so angry at times, I feel that the only way to be happy is to be "clueless" and uninformed like the left!
I can tell you that blogging less has actually helped, but to be honest, I still cannot let go and become uninformed!
By the way, I am very interested in what happens with MSNBC.COM. I desperately would like to find a neutral news site that I can get information from!

As for blogging, well, I've been forced into less blogging because of Mr. AOW's medical condition. But I still manage to spend some time reading on the web.

I wish you luck in your quest. Isn't it odd that we started blogging because we loved doing it. Now...well it can become drudgery if we let it.

Try limiting your posts to one per week, that frees up the time like you wouldn't believe, but yet still allows you to rant and rave on your favorite topic that has driven you to drink that week...
Just a thought.
