Dems Complain Vote Fraud is Getting Harder to Pull Off

Democratic Party of Texico

"Voter Intimidation" is a bogus issue

Election Day is nearing, and we know what that means.  Time for the Dems to harvest them votes!

They will drive buses down to the inner-city gulags where they keep their constituency enslaved by poverty-inducing liberal policies.  They'll bribe the ignorant, the disconnected and the drug-addled with smokes and hooch and promises of "Hope" and "Change."  Sadly, a large number will allow themselves to be herded to the polling place and do the overlords' bidding.

Simple Question:  Why would a legally-registered citizen be "intimidated?"
Voting rights advocates say they are worried.

“Private efforts to police the polls create a real risk of vote suppression, regardless of their intent,” said Wendy R. Weiser, director of the Voting Rights and Elections Project at the BrennanCenter for Justice at New York University.

“People need to know that any form of discrimination, intimidation or challenge to voters without adequate basis is illegal or improper.”  (NY Times)
This is pure BS. ALL AMERICANS have the the full force of the law behind them. This is not the pre-civil rights 1950's, no matter how liberal agitators long for those bad old days.  An American citizen can proudly march up to the polling place and dare someone to try to take her vote away.

If there really were cases of people being denied the vote because of skin color or a funny accent, legal organizations of all political stripes would be all over it.  You just can't get away with such overt bigotry in this country.  It is illegal, and activists and news organizations are on a hair trigger just waiting for a hint of it.

Professional Democrat agitators are upset because the increased scrutiny makes voter fraud more difficult.  Non-citizen voting, citizens voting multiple times, and dead people voting are now harder to carry out thanks to new laws and increased vigilance.

Advocates lament that since criminal enterprises like ACORN have been rolled up, voter registration is down.
Many states have also enacted laws in recent years that make registration drives more difficult, with stricter reporting and filing deadlines for voter registration groups.

“It has been an uphill fight in a lot of states to register people this year,” said Elisabeth MacNamara, national president of the League of Women Voters.
Ms. MacNamara said the group’s Georgia chapter faced an additional burden because of a new state law requiring voters to prove citizenship.
Awww...  Ya gotta prove citizenship to vote?  What a burden.  Only an America-hating leftist would find a problem with that.

So the Democrats are reduced to shouting through their New York Times bullhorn that it's unfair they can't bribe people, including illegal aliens, to vote for them. They also cry about how hard it is to get their constituency off their asses without government assistance, and increased vigilance is keeping people from voting multiple times.

This is what we mean by "take our country back."  Not from minorities or legal immigrants, but from the Alinskyite left who treat poor people as chattel and keep them mired in poverty so as to create a socialist political movement to split the country and undermine our constitutional republic.

Time to take it back from those people, so we can all be free.

And the tax exempt pastors and preachers will gather their sheeple like hearded cattle, throw them into bus after hypnotic bus, then get behind the wheel and drive them to the polls! The hypnotic will walk lock step into the lined up booths, with bibles in hand they will look at only the R candidates as instructed by their leader, they say a prayer to their maker, and BAM! Relief washes over them, they are thankful for their pastor and his guidance, for what would this country be if allowed to be run by LIBERALS! OMG!!

there SF, your scenerio and mine. But mine is the TRUTH.....

Actually, just the opposite, Sue.

What I described is right out of the liberal community organizer handbook.

Conservatives don't need people telling them what to do and what to think.

Good post Silver.

I see your communist commentor Sue is back around?

Hey Suzi-Q, I do not believe you would know the truth if it smacked you upside the head but nevertheless, how does your little fabrication fit with those who do not attend Church, Temple or Synagogue?

I wait with baited breath for the answer?

Sue, I took this from the Democratic Hallelujah Choir, the New York Times.

Are you saying they are lying?

They bussed them to the DC rally and Town Halls why not the polls?
Now Arizona is forbidden by Obama and his little sidekick Holder to ask people for proof of citizenship to register to vote.
I guess tha means my dog can vote too.

I'm overwhelmed by the intellectual rigor and staunch logic displayed in that rebuttal...

Susie is sooo wrong. The vast majority of churches today are pro-left and they won't rock the boat because they don't want to lose their precious 501c3 tax exemptions.

I refused the 501c3 because I did not want the federal government dictating to me what I could or could not say.

As far as whom I support or don't support, that is strictly my personal opinion I do not try to tell others who to vote for, but I will tell them who I think is dangerous to our country and our freedoms, who they vote for is their business. As a TRUE Conservative, I do not support any particular Political Party I support the individual who I feel will do what is right for the country.

Silver, I think we MUST address the states which do not require voter identification. We need to do something before the 2012 elections. It's a State's Rights issue, and I am not for federal intervention, but there needs to be a massive effort to move beyond creating a hardship for voters too lazy to prove who they are, are too illegal to be able to.

If elections are stolen by the Left, the Constitution will no longer be a first principle.

You are right: voters must protect their vote and not let anyone get away with turning them away.

Silver, I see two links coming from me at the bottom of this comment page, courtesy of the hackers. Their IP host shut them down, but the links are still being aggregated. I am so sorry! I don't know what else to do about it.

No problem Maggie...

The federal government can step in on a federal election, so I see no states rights issue there. You are right, we must tighten things up before 2012
