The Palin attack is what revealed their true colors. What does she have to do with the free flow of information? How does stealing her and Todd's credit cards advance the cause of an open society?
Many of these hackers are society’s losers. They are unsuccessful, so they hate society. They lack the skills and self-discipline to hold down a job and contribute to society. Unloved, unwanted, unfamiliar with bathing, they have no stake in society, and therefore stand to lose nothing (but their public assistance checks) by bringing it all down, man! If they really loved mankind, brotherhood and all that jazz, they'd be taking down gay-hating, free-speech snuffing jihadi websites instead of Mastercard's.
Anon_Ops describes itself as an "anonymous, decentralized movement which fights against censorship and copywrong." (Jake Tapper - Counterpunch)They fight censorship by silencing others and shutting down websites. They produce nothing of value, so copyright laws are of no value to them. This unique combination of self-contradiction and disrespect for the rights of others is the hallmark of the left.

Christopher: The left is unfamiliar with the founders and the thinking that inspired them, so they completely misapprehend what we say.
We are exactly where the progressive school system set out to place us:
Unable to think critically and beholden to big government.
They are panicked because millions of us are escaping the plantation and exhorting the timid who still cower inside the fence.
Silver, I understand and that is why I responded to Jersey in a very simple sentence using simple words so that his simpleton mind just might be able to comprehend.
Christopher, I'm not the biggest fan of the Obama administration. I would go so far as to say they're a lot better than the previous bunch, but by historical standards, rather ineffectual for what this country needs right now.
I know our history very well, Silver. Better than most people I know. I am always critical of authority. That's the fist lesson you learn when you learn about history.
As for the adolescent bantering - go ahead guys, try to have a serious argument with me.
