The good little Dhimmicrats are defending jihadis who want to build a mosque on ground zero (the wing of one of the hijacked planes fell on that site, so YES! IT IS GROUND ZERO!)

... the Germans found the intestinal fortitude to commit a flagrant act of self-preservation and common sense by shutting down once and for all the Taiba mosque and affiliated community center which was a haven for the terror cell responsible for the 9/11 atrocity and other jihadist activities. Three of the 9/11 hijackers, including ring-leader Mohammed Atta, met there regularly before moving to America.
Hamburg’s Interior Minister, Christoph Ahlhaus explained the move in refreshingly frank terms: “We closed the Taiba mosque today because young men were converted to religious fanatics there…We have put an end to the spectre behind the walls on Steindamm [Street].”
He goes on to offer a warning that all American religious freedom/free speech zealots currently siding with Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf who plans to build the Ground Zero mosque should pay attention to very closely.
“A purported cultural association shamelessly exploited the freedoms of our democratic state under the rule of law to recruit for holy war behind the scenes [emphasis added]…The association continuously promoted jihadist, aggressive and anti-democratic ideology and religious views in recent years. Fellow Coloradan David Harsanyi has the best take. He burns down the liberal strawman about the first amendment and religious freedoms. Americans agree Imam Ralf has a constitutionally-protected right to build their mosque; but that same majority (around 66%) also believes it to be a gross display of disrespect to those who died on that tragic day. Here's the money quote:
"unlike many other faiths, ideological Islam has a poor track record of compatibility with liberal ideals. Surely, that's worth a discussion in free society. Or is it a case of intolerance to bring it up?" (Reason - Harsanyi)Of course it's not intolerance. Catholics and Mormons know what it's like to feel the brunt of suspicion, mockery and vile invective. Why should Muslims get a pass?

I'm all for religious tolerance, but their is a limit, a point when tolerance becomes a form of surrender.

"Burn em down..." Really. I know it is nettlesome That we have Article 1 Bill of Rights.
But here I depart from the hysteria. There are ways to accomplish the desired end, if it is in fact to be the stated desire for the relocation of the Ground Zero Mosque to another site.
Rational: The point is that there is no debate on the constitutionality. They have the absolute right to build it.
The question is, if they want to "build bridges," inflaming 2/3 of the population is a poor way to do it.
Arrogance and poor judgment are a bad combination.
I also find it sad how self-described "liberals" defend a religion with such an illiberal track record. Yeah, Christians have burned some books and records(something I do not advocate), but we haven't stoned people to death or advocated killing homosexuals.
It's about time the Germans stand their ground.

The most important point you make is one where you simply state a truth: the location of the proposed Grand Jihad Victory Mosque is on Ground Zero.
This point must be made over and over until it sinks in.
Sadly, some of those who oppose the GJVM continue to accept the lie that it is near Ground Zero.
Yes, tear them all down, but first douse them all, inside and out, with gallons of pig's blood.

The Germans learned the hard way and vow never to repeat history.
The 1993 WTC bombing too had ties to a Mosque in NJ too as well an American not far from me on Long Island hooked up to a terror training camp in Pakistan through a local Mosque.
But hey we're not at war with Islam.

Stretching the truth still doesn't change the truth, only the person doing the stretching.
That being said, I think it's time that we start deporting ALL Muslims, since their "religion" requires that they kill all who oppose them.
Gorges: They also are plotting with their Jihad to overthrow The United States government.
Until we start shutting them down the radicals have forts to hate America in and attack us from when the right day comes. SO many laugh at that. Yet they can't disprove it because they 've never been in one. That's what makes them dangerous.
Anyone can walk in any church. Try that at the local MOSQUE(S) because ther're many.
