CBO had originally estimated that the health care reform bill would result in a net reduction in federal deficits of $143 billion from 2010-2019; this revised number would eliminate most of that savings.This is just the tip of the iceberg. Add in "Doc Fix" (paying doctors a decent reimbursement rate) and they've exploded the deficit further.
How many more financial landmines lurk just below the surface? Democrats have proven themselves irresponsible and unfit for governing. They are following the European model. Anybody notice which way the welfare states of Europe are heading? It ain't up...

Words to the wise when evaluating Democrat proposals:
Rule #1: Democrats always lie.
Rule #2: Rule number 1 is never wrong.
Democrats are indeed unfit to govern any longer. Their philosophy of tax and spend as a way to manage our nations scarce resoureces is crashing and burning right before our eyes everywhere, including here in the good, ol' USA.
The one thing that means more to dems than the economy, unemployment, education, immigration, racism, or __________(insert cause here), is the retention of power and control. They will sacrifice their very country in the pursuit of staying on top. Everything that they undertake has an underlying thread common to liberals...fool the public by any and all means, only secure their vote (dependence).
Color me not surprised. Of course it will cost more, and we were all ridiculed for saying that it would before the piece o' &%#@ thing passed.

Along with that 'Told ya so', Drudge has report up about Texas doctors opting out of Medicare at an 'alarming rate'.
I wonder how many doctors will 'opt out' of practicing medicine all together should this travesty see the light of day?

I like your rules Fred. As for the rest, why is it that conservative women are so intelligent and are so much more articulate than liberal women (or conservative men for that matter?)
